We have mentioned below an easy step-by-step guide that will help you to connect your Trezor device with Trezor Suite within a few simple steps.

  1. Connect your Trezor Device to your preferred computer or laptop by using a compatible data cable.
  2. Trezor will start up and then you can see an instruction on it to go to trezor.io/start.
  3. Open your preferred browser and search trezor.io to visit the official web page of trezor.io/start.
  4. Click on the “Download for desktop” button to download Trezor Suite App.
  5. Once you have installed the Suite app, launch it and install the latest firmware by hitting on the “Install Firmware” button.
  6. Now, ensure that the firmware fingerprints on your web browser screen are the same as on your Trezor device screen.
  7. Press “Continue” on your Trezor hardware wallet.
  8. Click on “Continue” on your web browser screen and then click on the “Create New Wallet” tab.
  9. A text will appear on your browser screen i.e., “Your wallet is almost ready”.
  10. Click on “Create Backup” and then on “Begin Backup” to generate a backup seed phrase for your wallet.
  11. Press “Confirm” on your Trezor device and then securely note down the 12 words seed phrase in the same order as shown on your Trezor device.
  12. In the last step, simply create a wallet access PIN and enter it in the required fields by following on-screen instructions to finish the entire process of connecting your Trezor Device with the Trezor App.

Steps to set up your Trezor Device on Trezor Bridge:

We have mentioned below an easy step-by-step guide that will help you to connect your Trezor device with Trezor Bridge within a few simple steps.

Note: If you are using the latest desktop version of Trezor Wallet Suite, then your device will automatically connect to Trezor Wallet Bridge.  But if you are using an old version of the Suite App then you have to separately download and set up your device on Bridge App.  

  1. In the first step, plug in your Trezor hardware device to your computer or laptop by using the compatible USB cable.
  2. Your device will start up and you will be able to see a lock icon and an instruction to go to trezor.io/start.
  3. Go ahead to your browser and visit trezor.io/start to download the Trezor Bridge. You can also visit trezor.io/start/bridge for completing download in a more convenient way.
  4. Once the app is installed, you have to restart your browser and then again launch it. Without restarting, the browser will not be able to recognize the Trezor hardware wallet.
  5. Install the latest firmware version for your Trezor device (if available).  
  6. Hit on the “Create Wallet” tab.
  7. Now, you have to accept the terms & conditions on your Trezor hardware device.
  8. Hit on the “Create a backup” button and then on “I understand and I agree” option.
  9. Click on “Continue”.
  10. Now, you will be able to see the seed phrase on your Trezor Device.
  11. Write down the seed phrase as same as shown on the Trezor device and secure it at a safe place and then re-check all of them by pressing the buttons on your Trezor device.
  12. Click on the “Continue” tab on your web browser.
  13. Press “Confirm” on your Trezor device.
  14. In the final step, create and enter the new PIN and then choose a name for your Trezor device to finish the entire process.
